Sigma developed 105 initiatives to provide more opportunities to improve the operational
effectiveness of support units. These initiatives were classified under the following
categories:
1- Governance changes and merging some functions to improve effectiveness 6 initiatives
2- Management tools and monitoring the workflow of functions 10 Initiatives
3- Organizational changes and related policies and procedures 39 Initiatives
4- Outsourcing some department tasks and functions 7 initiatives
5- Business Process Improvements – simplification and elimination of waste 14 initiatives
6- Better use of existing technology or new technology 29 initiatives
Out of a total of 105 initiatives: 41 are of High Impact and 5 are of High Risk.
